If you’re looking for something fun & unique, then come & join me for a Batch Ring Making Workshop. Over 3 hours, you will be guided through the steps to design & create your own sterling silver ring using the ancient art of lost-wax carving!
WHAT YOU GET:
⚒ 3 hrs of fun & an intro to lost-wax carving for jewellery
⚒ All tools & materials provided
⚒ Tea & cookies
⚒ Hands on guidance from an experienced tutor (me, Amy)
⚒ A finished sterling silver ring (made by you) delivered to you 3-4 weeks later
A LITTLE MORE DETAIL ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
⚒ You will be shown the basic techniques of wax carving for jewellery, so you will have the knowledge to be able to carve your own ring from wax. You will also be shown examples of rings made using this technique, so you can see what is possible!
⚒ An experienced Batch tutor (me, Amy) will then take the time to speak to each student individually about what you wish to create & how to go about it, so you know how to tackle the creative process.
⚒ At the end of your workshop, I take the waxes to get cast into sterling silver rings using the lost-wax casting technique, getting them back to you at a later date (usually 3-4 weeks later) as a finished product. I will talk through this process, explaining how the rings are cast, so you get more insight into the world of jewellery making ✨
No experience or even creativity is required, *anyone can do it & you walk away with a ring YOU have made! *not recommended for anyone under 13yrs, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
